Christopher A. Klement
Christopher A. Klement, an Associate attorney in the Dallas office of Cantey Hanger LLP, has been elected Chairman of the Dallas Bar Association’s Government Law Section.
The Government Law Section supports lawyers involved in federal, state and local government practice. Its membership includes federal government lawyers, city and county attorneys, prosecutors and lawyers in private practice who represent governmental agencies or entities.
“It is an honor to help serve and support the fine work done by our local government law attorneys,” Klement said. “I am excited to get to work growing the Government Law Section and helping to provide added resources and networking opportunities for the dedicated public servants working for our communities in North Texas.”
Klement is part of the litigation practice group at Cantey Hanger and is a member of the firm’s Government Section. He has experience representing a variety of governmental entities in a wide array of litigation matters, including civil rights, land use and personal injury. He also negotiates contracts, assists clients with corporate governance and represents clients in financial and commercial litigation matters.
He is a 2013 graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law.
